Roger Neel

Roger is the Morning Show host on Newsradio 1290 WNBF. In addition Roger serves as Program and Sports Director for WNBF and Program Director for ESPN 1360 AM WYOS. Roger came to WNBF to broadcast pro hockey with the American Hockey League's Broome Dusters and later Binghamton Whalers. He has been WNBF's Program Director since 1986. In addition Roger is the play by play voice of the Binghamton University Bearcats men's basketball team and was the Binghamton Mets Stadium Announcer for 12 seasons.. He graduated from Westminster College with a BA degree in Speech and Broadcasting. At Westminster he was a starting offensive tackle on their 1970 NAIA National Championship football team and was Captain of the baseball team in his Sr. season. Roger was selected for entry into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2010.

Southern Tier Health Care Exchange Reacts To Health Care Changes

The Southern Tier Health Care Exchange discussed the newly enacted Health Care Exchanges this afternoon at the Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network at 457 State Street in Binghamton.  Speaking at the gathering were elected officials along with Mary Clark from Citizen Action, Sharon Chesna, the Executive Director of Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network and Krys Cail, a small business owner and agriculture consultant.

Patriots Edge Golden Bears In High School Football

The Binghamton Patriots edged the Vestal Golden Bears tonight 14-13 at Alumni Stadium in Binghamton.  The win puts Binghamton's record at 3-1 while the Golden Bears drop to 2-2.

BU Bearcats Want You To Pack The House

The Binghamton University men's soccer team is hosting St. Bonaventure tomorrow night at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  Game time is 7 PM.  The Bearcats want you to help "pack the house".  Fans are invited to stop by area Subway Restaurants and pick up free coupons that can be redeemed at the Events Center box office for free tickets to the game
