Roger Neel

Roger is the Morning Show host on Newsradio 1290 WNBF. In addition Roger serves as Program and Sports Director for WNBF and Program Director for ESPN 1360 AM WYOS. Roger came to WNBF to broadcast pro hockey with the American Hockey League's Broome Dusters and later Binghamton Whalers. He has been WNBF's Program Director since 1986. In addition Roger is the play by play voice of the Binghamton University Bearcats men's basketball team and was the Binghamton Mets Stadium Announcer for 12 seasons.. He graduated from Westminster College with a BA degree in Speech and Broadcasting. At Westminster he was a starting offensive tackle on their 1970 NAIA National Championship football team and was Captain of the baseball team in his Sr. season. Roger was selected for entry into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2010.

Binghamton Basketball Heads To Albany for Post-Season

The Binghamrton Bearcats men's and women's basketball teams wrapped-up their regular seasons over the weekend and now set their sights on Albany for the America East Conference Tournament.  The BU women finished the season with an 86-80 double-overtime loss to UMBC on Saturday at the Events Center

Bearcats Take Vermont to Overtime In Regular Season Finale

Thousands Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day In Binghamton

Bearcats Drop OT Game at Hartford

ESPN Host Tony Kornheiser on WNBF and Binghamton Bearcats Basketball

ESPN host Tony Kornheiser was a guest on Saturday night's Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball broadcast with Roger Neel at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.  Kornheiser, a 1970 graduate of Harpur College and one of ESPN's most popular personalities, came to watch his alma mater play the Retrievers at the Retrievers Athletic Center
