Roger Neel

Roger is the Morning Show host on Newsradio 1290 WNBF. In addition Roger serves as Program and Sports Director for WNBF and Program Director for ESPN 1360 AM WYOS. Roger came to WNBF to broadcast pro hockey with the American Hockey League's Broome Dusters and later Binghamton Whalers. He has been WNBF's Program Director since 1986. In addition Roger is the play by play voice of the Binghamton University Bearcats men's basketball team and was the Binghamton Mets Stadium Announcer for 12 seasons.. He graduated from Westminster College with a BA degree in Speech and Broadcasting. At Westminster he was a starting offensive tackle on their 1970 NAIA National Championship football team and was Captain of the baseball team in his Sr. season. Roger was selected for entry into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2010.

Binghamton High Grads Help Canisius Earn Win Over Bearcats

Two ex-Binghamton Patriot standouts helped the Canisius Golden Griffins earn a road win over the Binghamton Bearcats in women's basketball last night at the Events Center.  Senior guard Jen Morabito and sophomore guard Tiahanna Mills, both graduates of Binghamton High School, helped lead Canisius to a 66-53 decision
