Roger Neel

Roger is the Morning Show host on Newsradio 1290 WNBF. In addition Roger serves as Brand Manager and Sports Director for WNBF and Program Director for ESPN 1360 AM WYOS. Roger came to WNBF to broadcast pro hockey with the American Hockey League's Broome Dusters and later Binghamton Whalers. He has been WNBF's Brand Manager since 1986. In addition Roger is the play by play voice of the Binghamton University Bearcats men's basketball team and was the Binghamton Mets Stadium Announcer for 12 seasons.. He graduated from Westminster College with a BA degree in Speech and Broadcasting. At Westminster he was a starting offensive tackle on their 1970 NAIA National Championship football team and was Captain of the baseball team in his Sr. season. Roger was selected for entry into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003, the Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2010 and Slippery Rock High School's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.

Binghamton Mets Head To Final Four

The Binghamton Mets are in Richmond to play their final four regular season games.  The Flying Squirrels host the B-Mets tonight at 7:05 (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Heading into tonight's meeting Binghamton is still two games in back of the Portland Sea Dogs in the Eastern League's Eastern Division

Binghamton Mets Close Home Slate Tonight

The Binghamton Mets are hosting the New Britain Rock Cats at NYSEG Stadium tonight in the regular season home finale for the B-Mets.  Following tonight's game the B-Mets head to Richmond to close out the regular campaign over the Labor Day weekend with Monday's 12:05 contest the final page in the regular season book

Jim “Mudcat” Grant All-Star Golf Tournament Played Today

The 13th Annual Jim "Mudcat" Grant All - Star Golf Tournament was held today at The Links at Hiawatha Landing.  The main sponsor and organizer of the event is Security Mutual Life.  It raises money for area charities and non-profit organizations and brings together over three dozen celebrities and former professional athletes

Binghamton Mets Team With Booster Club for Baseball Memories

The Binghamton Mets and the B-Mets Booster Club organized  a panel of former players to speak to fans prior to Monday's home game against the New Britain Rock Cats at NYSEG Stadium.  Panelists for "Baseball in Binghamton Through the Years" included two former B-Mets, a pair of Triplets and a Windsor native who went on to play with two Major League teams

Binghamton Mets Head to the Stretch
