A Syracuse Teen is Accused of Assaulting a Delaware County Inmate

An inmate in the Delaware County Jail is accused assaulting another inmate.

Corrections officials say 19 year old Isamael Pizarro of Syracuse is still incarcerated on a previous charge.

Officials say the teen is charged with one count of felony assault in connection with the attack in the County Jail on June 28

Candidates Line Up to Challenge NYS Senator Tom Libous

Broome County Executive Offers a Cancer Update

Broome County Executive Debra Preston is back working in her office at the county office building after working at home while recovering from lung cancer surgery.

Preston says she was scheduled chemotherapy treatments locally through United Health Services on July 3 but plans to continue to work, especially concentrating on the budget
