Broome County has a dozen new signs on its highways announcing it is a Purple Heart County.

The Purple signs are located on Routes 17 C, 12, 11, 26, 38B, 7 and 434.

Binghamton Drug Raid Turns up Crack Cocaine

A Binghamton man is being held in the Broome County Jail without bail after members of the Broome County Special Investigations Task Force searched his Griswold Street Home October 9.

Authorities say 22 year old Leto Ocasio was found to be in possession of one plastic knotted wrap containing seven and a half grams of crack cocaine, metal knuckles and two digital scales
