Schuyler County Man is Arrested for Tompkins County Robbery

 

A Schuyler County man is accused of robbing a gas station in Lansing, in Tompkins County.

New York State Police say they arrested 30 year old Michael Robinson of Odessa on a felony robbery count in connection with the holdup at the Top’s Friendly Market Gas Station on North Triphammer Road on February 19.

Johnson City’s Arch St. Bridge to be Renovated

A major road construction project is planned for next year in Johnson City.

A public information meeting was held yesterday to outline the planned Arch Street Bridge reconstruction project.

The nine-month long construction project beginning in April of next year will mean a detour for northbound traffic

Binghamton Man Sentenced for Attempted Murder

 

A Binghamton man will be spending 20 years in prison for a nearly deadly attack on his girlfriend in August of 2012 at an apartment on Miles Street in the city.

54 year old Ralph Townsend was sentenced February 27 as a second felony offender for attempted murder and assault for the August 23rd attack in which police found him on top of 38 year old Eileen Montagano, stabbing her repeatedly with a knife.
