An Endicott man is facing charges in connection with the discovery of a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in the Village in February.

Thursday (March 3), the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrested 32 year old William Wellman Junior.

On February 19, Endicott Police discovered indications of an active meth. lab at an apartment on Lincoln Avenue when they responded to a complaint at the address.

Broome SIU found sodium hydroxide, anhydrous ammonia, ether starting fluid and other items related to production of methamphetamine using the one-pot or “shake and bake” method.

Wellman is charged with felony counts of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
