Armed Robbery at Binghamton Convenience Store

Police are investigating the reported early-morning armed robbery of a convenience store on Binghamton's North Side on March 20.

Authorities say police responded to the Xtra Mart at 520 Chenango Street at about 5:05 a.m..

A store clerk told officers a man brandishing a knife demanded cash.

Detectives say the robber was last seen running south on Chenango Street.
