The blaze was reported at around 5:40 a.m.

Officials closed down a portion of Main Street East at Loder Avenue due to the fire activity. Loder Avenue was also being closed down between North and Main Streets.

There have been reports that two people were taken to the hospital with apparent minor injuries.

The fire was reported “knocked down” within an hour.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.  Most of the damage appeared to be contained to one unit in the apartment building.
