Apalachin Man Sentenced for Receiving Child Pornography

An Apalachin man will serve five years in prison and fifteen years on parole after pleading guilty to receiving child pornography via the internet.

31 year old Brandon Kie admitted he used a computer to connect to several child porn web sites in 2014, downloaded hundreds of digital images and a dozen videos of minors engaged in sexual acts.

Federal prosecutors say Kie said he used peer-to-peer file sharing software to download the porn in 2014.

He pleaded guilty last September to receiving child pornography.
