Sunny skies greeted visitors to the 49th Cruise-In and Flea Market yesterday at Floyd L. Maines Community Center at Conklin Sports Park, 942 Conklin Road in Conklin.  The event was organized by the Antique Automobile Club of America, Iroquois Region.

Members of the group said over 300 cars and motorcycles turned out for the event.  A chicken barbeque was held to benefit the Conklin Fair Committee.

Cars from the early 1930's through the 1980's were on display.  Judges selected top entries for trophy awards.  Non-perishable food items were collected by volunteers to donate to CHOW, the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse.   A group of "celebrity judges" also selected winning entries in various categories of cars on display.
