Anthony Guilty Of Murder In Binghamton Man’s Death

A Brooklyn man has been convicted of murder in the 2010 shooting death of a 21-year-old Binghamton man.

A Broome County jury found Maurice Anthony guilty of first-degree murder and second-degree murder.

Anthony also was convicted of two counts of attempted robbery.

The verdict was announced Thursday afternoon.

Eric Dantzler was shot while in a car on Corliss Avenue in Johnson City in December 2010.

Anthony is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
