Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Another defendant in the bust of a big drug trafficking operation in the Southern Tier will be spending 10 years in prison.

33 year old Ferris Brown has been sentenced after pleading guilty to two counts of felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.

He and six others are accused of running heroin from New York City into the Southern Tier.

Brown, Devon Johnson and two others were indicted under New York State’s drug kingpin law that could have resulted in a life sentence under a guilty verdict in a jury trial.

Johnson also pleaded guilty under a deal and was sentenced to ten years in prison.
