The Binghamton Mets downed the Portland Sea Dogs this afternoon 8-5 at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine.  Joe Bonfe was the key offensive producer with four hits including a go-ahead two-run single in the sixth inning to help the B-Mets get the road win.  Binghamton took two out of three games in the series against the Sea Dogs to put their season record at 24-19.  The B-Mets have won six of their last seven games.

Cory Mazzoni pitched 6 and 1/3 innings for the victory  to put his record at 2-1.  John Church and Jack Leathersich combined to close out the win for Binghamton.

The B-Mets continue their road-trip with four straight games in New Britain. Game one in the series is set for tomorrow night at 6:35 PM (airtime at 6:20 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF). Logan Verrett is the scheduled  B-Mets pitcher against the Rock Cats' Pat Dean.
