The Rural Health Network’s program is also being supported by $153,816 in federal funding and nearly $40,000 from organizations hosting AmeriCorps members and in-kind contributions.
Primary counties being served are Broome, Cortland, Delaware, Madison and Tioga with secondary counties of Cayuga, Chemung, Chenango, Onondaga, Otsego, Oswego and Tompkins.
AmeriCorps is also currently recruiting members to support the program. Interested applicants can go to www.ruralhealthnetwork.org/americorps.
