Another Knifepoint Robbery in Broome County

The string of knifepoint robberies in Broome County continues with another holdup, this time in Chenango Bridge last night. 

Broome County Sheriff’s officials are investigating the reported robbery at around quarter of 10 at the Xtra Mart on Route 12. 

The man suspected in the latest heist is said to stand around five feet, 11 inches tall, is white and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

There have been similar holdups at convenience stores and a couple Chinese restaurants in Binghamton, Johnson City and Hillcrest over the past several weeks. 

In each case, the suspect is described as white, about six feet tall and armed with a knife.
