Binghamton City detectives continue their investigation into a shooting early Sunday morning in the city's First Ward.  According to police reports and published accounts in the Press and Sun Bulletin 28 year-old Jamaal A. Moses of Binghamton was shot multiple times shortly after 1:00 AM Sunday in the area of Lake Avenue and Merrill Street.

Officials say Moses was taken to Wilson Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.  Police are looking for an Hispanic male of medium build who stands about 5' 10" tall and was believed to be wearing dark clothing at the time of the shooting.  They believe the suspect may have fled the scene of the attack in a red vehicle.

Detectives ask that anyone with information pertaining to the case contact them at 772-7080.  As of late this (Monday) morning detectives had no additional information to release in the case.
