The 15th Annual Multicultural Garlic Festival is set for this Saturday (August 25th) from 11 A.M until 6 P.M at the American Civic Association, 131 Front Street in Binghamton.  Approximately 30 vendors are expected to participate.  Many different varieties of garlic will be available for purchase. Garlic growers from all around the area will take part.

In addition to garlic visitors can choose from a wide variety of ethnic foods.  There is a food court that will be set up featuring many ethnic favorites. Dine in and take some home to enjoy later.  Another highlight for dessert is garlic ice cream. Vaniilla ice cream enhanced with garlic provides a delightful and unique treat.

There will be dancing and musical performances highlighting many of the cultures that make up our community.  There will be a live remote broadcast with WNBF's Roger Neel from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.  Visit Roger and look for prizes and souvenirs from News Radio 1290 WNBF.
