American Pride Ride For Children of Fallen Soldiers

Motorcycle rides to benefit the Children of Fallen Soldiers are being held around the country this summer, including several in New York State, with one leaving from Endicott July 13.

The third American Pride Ride in Broome County will start with registration from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and leave from American Legion Post 1700 at 305 Maple Street, Endicott at noon.  Registration is $20 per motorcycle.

The Broome County ride is about 100 miles with three stops on the way. A meal follows the ride with entertainment by the Troubadours.  There will be auctions and merchandise for sale.  The Endicott Legion riders will be selling sausage and peppers in the morning to raise funds for their group and the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.

For more information about the Binghamton area ride, contact Sean King at (607) 658-9451. The Post 1700 website can be found at www.AmericanLegionPost1700.com.

The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund is a non-profit organization founded in October, 2003 to provide college grants and financial aid to surviving children and spouses of U.S. military service members who have lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

More information about the organization can be found at www.cfsrf.org.
