The win gives Albany a final conference record of 15-2 while the Bearcats fall to 14-4.  Next up the Bearcats will host the America East ChampionshipTournament beginning on Thursday.  Albany deferred the home field for the tourney due to field maintenance issues.

Albany will match-up against Stony Brook in opening round play on Thursday at 1 PM while the second-seed Bearcats meet Hartford in a 3:30 PM start.  The tournament is a double-elimination event with the winner getting an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
