The 2014 Greater Binghamton Airshow is underway this afternoon.  It runs until 4 PM today.  A big crowd turned out last night to see the night portion of the show followed by a big fireworks extravaganza.

Today's Airshow started with a Warbird Flight and the Army Golden Knights flag jump in conjunction with the National Anthem.  Other highlights include the Manfred Radius Sailplane at 1:25 PM, the Raiders Demo Team at 1:55 PM, Team AeroDynamix at 2:35 PM and the Army Golden Knights Exit Show at 3 PM.  Static displays include the 1941 Historic Aircraft Group, Air Heritage, Inc, the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation and the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum.

Admission today is $15 for adults.  The cost per child ages 8-16 is $10 and kids 7 and under are free.  This is the first Airshow at the Greater Binghamton Airport in five years.
