Afton Man Accused of Selling Crystal Methamphetamine

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say a joint investigation between the Sheriff’s Office, Norwich Police, Sidney Police, Oxford Police and the District Attorney has ended with the arrest of an Afton man.

Authorities say 24 year old Taylor Nelson is accused of selling crystal methamphetamine in Sidney and Chenango County.

He was arrested during a traffic stop on North Washington Street in Oxford at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, February 16 and charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

He was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $20,000 bail.
