Aero Products, Norwich to Close

Employees of Aero Products in Norwich are being told the Chenango County operations will cease in 2015.

The plant is part of Esterline Corporation of Bellevue, Washington that produces sensors and other systems for the defense and aerospace industries.

Esterline announced it would be moving the work done in Norwich to a facility it operates in Tijuana, Mexico in the early part of next year.

The announcement affects 120 jobs in Chenango County.
