Broome County is being told to get rid of what many consider an Albatross around the county’s neck.

The accounting firm: Toski and Company from Rochester has advised county lawmakers that Willow Point Nursing Home should be sold off.

The company projects a $5 million deficit in the home’s expenses by the end of 2017.

The report does not say the facility should be closed but suggests the home be sold within the next two years.
