A Norwich man is accused of having several items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine using the one-pot method in his possession.

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials and the New York State Police arrested 27 year old Michael Pierce in the parking lot of the Lowes home improvement store in the Town of Norwich.

The investigation also led to the location of several dump sites and used one-pots in Pharsalia and Preston State Lands.

The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team cleaned those dump sites and no injuries were reported.

Pierce is charged with unlawful manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory material and criminal possession of precursors of meth.

He was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Authorities say additional charges are pending.
