A Smyrna Man is Accused of Doctoring a Prescription

A Chenango County man is accused of altering a prescription and is also charged with escape and other counts.

Authorities say 20 year old Vincent Brower of Smyrna was arrested after filling the altered prescription at a Village of Sherburne business.

Brower is charged with felony forgery, criminal contempt and resisting arrest.

Officials say the resisting arrest count was the result of an incident that happened as Brower was being arraigned.
