A Lisle woman is accused of hitting with her vehicle a pedestrian who was walking on State Route 26 in the Town of Triangle at 2:50 a.m. September 27.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 20 year old Sharlene Cornelius was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and was sent to the Broome County Jail on $5,000 bail.

The man suffered multiple internal injuries and was taken to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center in Johnson City. His condition was not made available.

Officials say the man was walking in the roadway when he was hit.
