A Chenango County Home is Destroyed by Fire

A Chenango Countymobile home is in ashes following a fire May 3 in Coventry.

Officials say several fire companies were called to the home on State Highway 235 at around 11:30 p.m. but found the home and barn already consumed by flames.

A vehicle was also destroyed.

There were no injuries and the home apparently was undergoing renovations.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
