Families of the victims of the American Civic Association shootings four years ago say the tragedy remains fresh in their minds. Survivors, family members, and some members and of the community gathered at the A-C-A building on Front Street yesterday to commemorate the loss and celebrate the lives of the victims.

April 3rd, 2009, Jiverly Wng entered the center, firing 98 rounds and killing 13 people before fatally shooting himself. In a few weeks, a memorial park will be formally dedicated on Front and Clinton Street.
