A Barton Man Sustains Serious Injury in Pennsylvania Crash

A Tioga County, New York man is being treated for what are described as major injuries following a crash in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. 

Authorities say 48 year old Donald Mosher of Barton was driving on State Route 187 west of Feusner Road in Orwell Township shortly before 8 p.m. January 10 when, for unknown reasons, his car crossed the road, went over a guardrail and became airborne. State Police say the vehicle hit a tree while in the air and traveled down a large embankment, coming to rest at the bottom. 

Although seriously injured, State Police say Mosher left the scene in an attempt to find help.

He was found by fire personnel and troopers about a mile away in a wooded area.

Rescuers removed Mosher from the woods and he was transported to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.

Investigators say they believe Mosher had been speeding at the time.
