A 20 Year Old From Conklin is Charged With Underage Alcohol Possession

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say they found a 20 year old Conklin man in possession of a large, partially consumed bottle of vodka a almost a half pound of marijuana.

Brendon Bonsell was arrested as Sheriff’s officials investigated a report of youths trying to break into cars at a mobile home park on Stillwater Road in the Town of Conklin at around 3:30 a.m. June 29.

While Bonsell was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of alcohol under the age of 21, authorities say he was not involved in connection with the vehicle break-in attempts.

Bonsell told Deputies he was on probation for an earlier narcotics offense.

He was ordered to appear in Town of Conklin Court at a later date.
