Binghamton Bearcat Wins Second Rookie of the Week Honors

Imani Watkins of the Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team earned her second straight America East Rookie of the Week honors after another outstanding performance.  Watkins scored 19 points against Xavier, notched four rebounds and garnered a pair of assists.

Watkins is averaging 19.7 points per game for the Bearcats.  She earned similar honors last week for her outstanding performance at the Akron Invitational.  Against Delaware State she scored 21 points and versus the host team she hit for 19 points.

Watkins is a graduate of Wingate Andrews High School in High Point, North Carolina.  She is majoring in psychology at Binghamton University.
