New York State Police say they arrested two City of Binghamton residents and a Fresno, California resident after a search of an Oliver Street, Binghamton home turned up 25 pounds or marijuana and an extraordinarily large amount of cash.

Troopers say 22 year old Vongpachon, “Nino” Soukhaphonh, 48 year old Vilayvahn Saysanevong, both of Binghamton, and 48 year old Van Soukhaphon of California are charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

In addition to the pot and $19, 690, officials seized a money counter, two heat sealers, packaging material and a car.

Soukhaphonh and Soukhaphon were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail while Saysanevong was released on her own recognizance.

State Police say the arrests followed an investigation conducted with Vestal Police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration that lasted several months.
