The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and Gun Investigation Unit along with the Vestal Police say 245 envelopes of heroin have been seized following the search of a Binghamton home.

Authorities wrapped up a two-month long investigation into heroin sales with the search of 38 year old Kendall Smith’s Ogden Street home.

Police say in addition to the glassine envelopes of heroin, they found packaging materials and $240 in cash.

Smith is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
