A Cortland County man will be getting over $2 million in a settlement for a construction accident at Binghamton University in 2010.

42 year old David Stauber was one of six workers hurt in a scaffold collapse at a dormatory construction project June 2, 2010.

LeChase Construction Services was ordered to pay $2,7658 for past and future pain and suffering, lost earnings and medical expenses.

Stauber worked for Apple Roofing on the project that was managed by LeChase when the scaffolding fell five stories.

OSHA had found safety chains were not in place on the rigging.

A Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania company and Apple Roofing were both issued citations and fines in the incident.
