Candlewood Suites Under Construction in Vestal

Construction is underway on the latest hotel to line the Vestal Parkway corridor near Binghamton University.

Candlewood Suites Hotel has broken ground on the former site of the Parkway Diner, and before that, Hooters, on the Vestal Parkway.

The four story hotel is to house one-bedroom suites and studio rooms.

The facility is due to open in June.
