Sidney Woman Charged With DWI After Bouncing Off Barrier

A Sidney woman is being charged with drunk driving after Broome County Sheriff’s officials say she crashed into the median barrier on Interstate 88 South in the Town of Fenton several times.

Authorities say they found 21 year old Victoria Pruitt standing outside her Ford Explorer, which was facing the wrong way on the inside lane.

Pruitt was taken to Binghamton General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Officials say the investigating is continuing and additional charges are pending.
