127 MPH Chase In Barker and Chenango

A New Jersey man is free on bail after New York State Police had to chase him doing almost 127 miles an hour on Interstate 81 in the Town of Barker.

Troopers say 24 year old Trevon Clement of Newark tried to outrun police at 9:40 p.m. January 1 until he crashed into a guide rail on Route 17 in the Town of Chenango.

He’s charged with fleeing and officer and numerous traffic counts.
