12,370 Month Jail Sentence in Bradford County

A District Attorney in Bradford County, Pennsylvania says a man accused of raping a girl for 20 years, starting when she was 7 years old, will never see the light of day as a free man again.

57 year old Donald Burrell of Towanda was sentenced to close to 1,031 years in prison after he had been convicted on over 5,100 sex abuse charges.  Burrell was sentenced November 9 after being convicted in June.

State Police investigators say the abuse happened non-stop for over 20 years.

It took a jury in Bradford County four days to convict Burrell.
